Let’s get right to the point: I’m taking a sabbatical. Yep, for the entire month of April 2014 + the beginning weeks of May 2014, I won’t be posting any new content.
You might be thinking, “What … Why? You were just starting to blog all about Yoga + now you’re leaving!?” Take a deep breath – I’m not leaving, just taking a break.
You might remember when I posted about my husband’s deployment, which in-turn meant that I was moving from California back to Connecticut. As you can imagine, preparing to spend the next year without my husband + planning my 4th cross-country move in only 2 months creates quite a to-do list. In addition to a full-time gig with one of the coolest ladies on the planet, I do still need to find time to sleep + eat.
I’m the type of person that enjoys many different things (often called being multipassionate), but that also means that I tend to take on too many things at once + get overwhelmed. I haven’t reached that point yet, but I can feel it coming, so this time I’m going to hit the brakes before crashing.
This blog has seen many incarnations over the years + it’s my home on the World Wide Web (does anyone still say that anymore?). During my time off, I’ll also be cultivating, brainstorming, + planning what I’ll be offering YOU over the next 2 years. Yeah, big stuff!
If you’re signed up for the awesome VIP email list, then you’ll be receiving an uber-cool + quick survey in May (my first-ever survey!) and your responses will help to shape all the Yoga-licious content I’ll be sharing until 2016. You have the power!
Also, I’ll still be active on my Facebook page, Twitter, + Instagram, so be sure to follow me on your favorite social media site for some nifty behind-the-scenes peeks + ongoing Yoga-esque inspiration. With the ideas that I’ve got fluttering around in my mind, things are about to get really freakin’ awesome around here, so stick around! (New content will start again on Wednesday, May 14th)
How are YOU taking care of yourself this April?
More Yoga? More fresh food? More time outside?
