I have heard of the process of green demolitions before (love it!) & have been to a few salvage places here in CT, but I don't think I've been to <a href="http://www.greendemolitions.org/" rel="nofollow">the one you are talking about</a> - I'll have to visit. :) P.S. If you don't want to get the feed via e-mail, you'll have to add <a href="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/VictoriaKlein" rel="nofollow">the feed</a> to an RSS reader (like <a href="http://www.google.com/reader/" rel="nofollow">Google Reader</a>) and check it regularly to see if something posted. If you don't already use a feed reader for other blogs, it would be much easier to just get updates via e-mail. I love to refurbish old furniture... PS: Did you hear of 'Green demolitions'? It's a company who removes old kitchens and bath and brings them to life elsewhere...what a great idea. I believe they are out of Conneticut! They also install what you choose to buy from them. At extremly reasonable prices. Thought you might like to know, since your home shopping! Yeah, it would be great if we all could drive a hybrid, run on our own solar panels, and grow all our own food, but that is the ideal ... you have to "grow" into that (pun intended). I just saw that Swedish house at Desire to Inspire, and it surly did inspire me. I come from Europe where homes usually are not so large, but modern and well thought trough, it was a delight to see. My house here in Westchester County,NY is not big at all, that I don't mind but it is not very userfriendly and we do not have the means for an major update...but once we are there all will be green.
