Peanut has had kittens again! This time, Monster isn’t the father (he’s been fixed), but 1 of 2 possible cats in mum’s neighborhood. Don’t worry, after this litter, she is getting fixed!

#1 was born @ 4:40 am EST on Friday, September 4th, 2009

#2 was born @ 5 am EST on Friday, September 4th, 2009

Unfortunately, #1 didn’t make it – he was still-born (already dead when delivered). Very sad news, but #2 is happy and healthy … and we think there might still be more!

A better shot of kitten #2, which my mum has nicknamed Muffin. He’s black with two white spots on his underside & some white/gray hairs on his legs. When he stretches out, it looks like he might have some faint stripes on his body too.

My plans for Labor Day weekend:

[Saturday a.k.a. today] Preparing for & taking quiz for my online Spanish college class; strength-training; yoga; shower … maybe going back to mum’s this afternoon (more kittens!?!?)

[Sunday] My hubby’s day off! Spending the bulk of it @ mum’s house, going to the Hill-Stead Farmers’ Market, cooking tasty food, & reading college textbooks

[Monday] Spending the day @ mum’s house (again) for a small Labor Day BBQ – hubby will join us after he gets off work @ 5pm
