Etsy Favorites: stephaniekao

I just found stephaniekao‘s superb ceramics via a tweet from Country Living Magazine. The ceramics themselves are made & fired by Robert Siegel, but Stephanie hand-decorates each one. Her website also features some freaking sweet illustrations!

My eyes are set on her Little Sunrise and Dandelions Coffee Mug. Great price, gorgeous yellow color, and such a swank design. This baby could keep my happy all winter, filled with warm tea & accompanied by my all-time favorite homemade French breakfast puffs. (Sorry, I’ve gone off into lala-land now.)

So cute, I really love yellow color for dishes. I was thinking about a good book, warm wool socks, hot chocolate from this mug (marshmellows on top ofcourse) and some good music while it’s snowing outside. Perfect! :)

I believe yellow is a fantastic color for anything small. It’s such a great accent color that brightens up everything around it (including people). Mmmmm, hot chocolate – you’ve found my other liquid weakness, haha. Since I’m in college these days, I don’t have any time to read books (I barely get to read magazines I subscribe to!), so, I’ve got a growing list of tomes to tackle once classes are over. Having Stephanie’s mug would make it all the more enjoyable. Cozy socks & falling snow totally seal the deal.
