Just kidding – that’s far too melodramatic. I’ve blogged for Tara Gentile of Scoutie Girl many times. She is a gem in the blogging world & I always smile when I see new posts from her blog in my feed reader.

Recently, she asked if anyone would be interested in having their blog critiqued. Yes, please. I’m perpetually interested in having feedback from other; we all see things differently and can constantly learn from each other.

Today, Tara posted her dissection of my humble online outlet in a post titled The Blogging Game: Victoria Klein. She made some delightful praises and intelligent suggestions that I will happily follow, ironically focusing in on one of the biggest pet peeves I have about my blog. Thank you, Tara, for taking the time to share your blogging knowledge with me – you rock!

In this spirit of this post, I want to say a happy, healthy New Year to all my readers – wishing you lots of love & laughs for 2010 and beyond!

The first surprise was the fact that I’d never actually spoken to Christy (from farouche), though I did have her shop bookmarked in my Etsy account. She just messaged me out of the blue.

The second surprise was that she featured one of my photographs on her blog, Dandy Bread and Candy!

My Butter Blooms print is a part of her latest “eye candy” post, all of which I could spent hours browsing through – so many great things to drool over. Ironically, her “Partly sunny with a chance of showers” post is a collection of items in one of my favorite color combos: yellow and gray. *swoon*

A big thank you to Christy for mentioning my photography! I discovered farouche thanks to Holly Becker from decor8 (what a gem she is!) & regularly dream of having their darling papers in my midst.

Canadian House & Home picked up one of my tweets and published it in their September 2009 issue. I already had plans to track down their 09/2009 issue because it was about decorating small spaces, one of my all-time favorite subjects. Then, the H&H editors mentioned 3 of us tweeters were on page 20 of the issue.

Thanks again to the CH&H editors for all the time they spend chatting with folks on Twitter. It is great to be able to truly feel connected to folks that make some of your favorite magazines.
