After over a month of hard work, my first-ever Blog Book Tour (for 27 Things to Know About Yoga) has begun!
“What is a Blog Book Tour,” you ask? It’s the virtual version of a bookstore tour, but instead of going to bookstores & doing signings, I visit a different blog each weekday. You may find an interview, a review of the book, giveaway contest, or even a guest post written by yours truly.
To kick things off, Erica of Spoiled Yogi has posted a fun interview we did together: Interview with 27 Things to Know About Yoga Author Victoria Klein. Visit, read, enjoy, comment, and share!
Because of the overwhelming interest & support I’ve gotten from the online community, this Blog Book Tour is an unheard of three week long. Here’s the full schedule:
Stop by here at VictoriaKlein.net for daily weekday updates for the next 3 weeks – it’s going to be one majorly swank tour!

Meredith LeBlanc, also known as The Pondering Yogini, is a yoga teacher in Rhode Island whom I’ve chatted with briefly online. Yesterday, she’s posted a review of 27 Things to Know About Yoga that has me absolutely blushing. An excerpt:
What I like about Victoria Klein’s book is how clear and simply put the text is; that’s not to say it’s over simplified, it’s not. She has taken care to break down the fundamental aspects of yoga into 27 easily digestible sections in terms that everyone can understand. To me it’s like a Frommer’s traveler’s guide for someone new to yoga.
Thank you, Meredith!
Bonus: Meredith also took the time to post her review on the 27 Things to Know About Yoga Amazon.com page – hooray!

I’m still amidst the strange challenge of absorbing the fact that I am officially an author. Here’s hoping that it sinks in soon because I’ve booked my first two book signing events for 27 Things to Know About Yoga!
Wellness Evening Author Discussion: Meet Victoria Klein, author of 27 Things to Know About Yoga. We will also have Eve Arias, using the book Eight Steps to Happiness, speak about meditation and Buddhism. We will discuss and demonstrate the practical benefits of both to everyday life. – from BN.com
Saturday, November 13th, 2010 @ 2pm
Borders in Farmington, CT
Double Event! I’ll be discussing & signing BOTH of my books: 27 Things to Know About Yoga + 48 Things to Know About Sustainable Living (available late October 2010).
Won’t be around for these events? Help me come to your town! Tell you favorite local bookstore about 27 Things to Know About Yoga + 48 Things to Know About Sustainable Living. Tell the store manager you want author Victoria Klein to visit or contact my event coordinator, Lauren Kerensky, at lkerensky@turnerpublishing.com.
Bonus: If you & 25 of your friends buy a copy of either of my books, I’ll come visit, chat and autograph your copies at our own private event in your town, featuring locally-made cupcakes & giveaways (email me for more details).
